CITU produces three national topnotchers
CIT-U’s latest results highlighted the strength of its Electrical Engineering program, with three graduates placing among the country’s highest scorers.
Santillan, Oracion, and Verame all went through CIT-U’s senior high school program before completing their engineering degrees. The university’s Senior High School curriculum includes a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics track and an engineering pathway leading to its engineering degree programs.
CIT-U has also maintained a long-standing focus on preparing electrical engineering students for professional practice. Its Electrical Engineering program emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, including laboratory work, design projects, computer exercises, and practicum courses.
The three topnotchers add to CIT-U’s continuing record of producing high-performing engineering graduates in professional licensure examinations.
CTU graduates secure two Top 10 spots
CTU’s performance was led by Teves of the Tuburan Campus, who earned the national second-place ranking with a 94-percent rating.
CTU-Tuburan also reported a 60-percent passing rate among its first-time examinees, exceeding the national passing rate of 49.34 percent cited by the campus.
At the university’s Main Campus, Lausa secured ninth place with a rating of 92.40 percent. CTU said the two graduates' performances reaffirm the university’s commitment to academic excellence in electrical engineering.
